Slimme infrastructuur
What is our city’s view on smart infrastructure?
Sensors are increasingly being used in public spaces across the Netherlands—for example, to measure air quality, traffic density, or noise pollution. This 'smart infrastructure' can offer benefits, such as improving traffic flow or detecting noise levels to identify disturbances. However, there may also be downsides, such as additional costs or concerns about privacy.
We want to explore together with residents whether and how smart infrastructure could have a place in Wageningen. Do we want this? Why or why not? And if we do, under what conditions?
The municipality does not yet have a vision or policy on this topic. That’s why we would like to hear your thoughts as a resident. Filling out the questionnaire takes about 6 minutes.
