Designated firework zones

During the New Year's Eve from 2024 to 2025, people are only allowed to set off fireworks in designated firework zones. The municipality of Wageningen will determine which neighborhoods will have such zones. This means that people are only allowed to set off fireworks in those areas. Fireworks can only be set off during the nationally permitted times: from December 31, 2024, at 6:00 PM until January 1, 2025, at 2:00 AM.

The rest of the municipality of Wageningen is a firework-free zone. Therefore, people are not allowed to set off fireworks there, even during New Year's Eve.

We would like to hear from you whether you do or do not want a firework zone in your neighborhood. In this short survey, you can let us know your preference. Therefore, it is important to enter your postal code.

The results of this survey will be part of the decision on where we designate the firework zones. After the summer, we will inform the municipal council and you about the final locations of the firework zones.
