Results questionnaire Walking in Wageningen

We would like to share the results of the questionnaire about walking in Wageningen. The questionnaire was completed by 465 residents. Thank you very much for that! Residents indicated where they mainly walk and where in Wageningen they experience this as pleasant and less pleasant. The results help us determine the 'walking network' in Wageningen.

Why are we doing this?

The municipality of Wageningen focuses on sustainable mobility, and walking/hiking is crucial in this regard. Therefore, we are mapping out the network of walking routes. We are also investigating the qualitative requirements that the walking network must meet. The first step in this process was this questionnaire, which has provided us with a lot of information. You can see the summary of the results in the factsheet. You can also see on the map where walking is most common. Over the coming months, we will continue to work on the walking route network and the quality requirements.
